IF THE GAME DOES NOT START

If The Max Payne 2 startup dialog does not appear, please see the installation troubleshooting.

If a "Max Payne requires a DirectX 9 compatible graphics card" error message is shown, please follow the instructions for checking Direct3D functionality in Graphics Card Troubleshooting or re-install graphics card drivers.

If the game starts loading but crashes or can't get to menus, please lower the settings to minimum in the Max Payne 2 options dialog and try again.
