When it comes to Hugo, what you see is what you get. He's a straight-talking, no-nonsense guy with little patience for people who pretend to be something they're not.
Born and raised in a tough neighborhood of downtown L.A., he believes that his life would have turned out very differently if he hadn't got into street racing in his early twenties.
He runs a tight crew of young drivers, including Victor, Oswaldo, Dora and Miguel, who dominate the Downtown racing scene. They race out of two abandoned lots: one on Grand St. and the other in the Theater District.
 He drives a 1998 Nissan 240SX, a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, a 2008 VW R32 and a 2006 Ford GT.
