MAD DOCŪ TO OPEN SEATTLE ART STUDIO

Taking the old adage “Go West, young man” to
heart, Mad Doc pumps up its creative roster


BOSTON, MA - JUNE 25, 2006 - Continuing on its path of steady growth, Mad DocŪ Software, LLC (Mad Doc), announced today that it will be expanding its US presence, opening a dedicated game development art studio nestled in the heart of Seattle’s high tech corridor. The Washington-based studio will consist of industry veterans with extensive experience in AAA title game development.

“We’ve got some of the most talented vets in the industry, and we’ve definitely taken advantage of the rich creative pool that the Boston area has to offer. Let’s face it, we’ve happily capitalized on the luxury of having MIT and so many other world-class facilities to draw from here,” notes Dr. Ian Davis, Mad Doc’s CEO and Creative Director. “Yet with Mad Doc expanding by leaps and bounds, and with so many opportunities for us on the left coast, we’re looking forward to bringing some of the great artists and designers out West into the fold.”

Through collaboration, the Seattle studio will allow us to expand the talented production team at Mad Doc Boston, fully leveraging both teams to our clients’ advantage. "We're excited to have the teams on both coasts exchanging ideas on a daily basis," says Davis. "We hope to create another immersive atmosphere that will help us continue to produce the finest in cutting-edge video games."
