Brown University Lecture “Voice Recognition in Computer Games”

In this immersive presentation, Mad Doc’s Dan Conti will demonstrate the use of voice recognition in computer games. He'll be offering insights into some of the different ways voice recognition can help the player's experience, how it has been used in past games, and what Mad Doc is bringing to the table that has never been done in games before. Audience members will also get a sneak peek and demonstration of a prototype game Mad Doc has in the works using voice recognition.

BIO:

Dan Conti is a Programmer Lead at Mad Doc’s studio in Massachusetts. Well versed in leading programming efforts on Triple A game title development, Dan is currently at the helm of the highly-anticipated Star Trek: Legacy, slated for release in the Fall of 2006.
