FRENCH-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ON
INNOVATION IN THE GAME INDUSTRY

WHAT:

Dr. Davis is among the invited speakers to present at MIT’s French- American Conference on Innovation in the Game Industry. With half the speakers at this conference representing French game companies, and half representing US companies, the conference intent is to get a multi-cultural dialogue on innovation going.

French guests will offer two hours of presentations from 2-4PM followed by two hours of "open dialogue," moderated by Dr. Jenkins, from 4-6PM. The conference concludes with game demos and open mingle time from 6-7PM.

SPEAKER BIO:
Dr. Davis, former Technical Director at Activision Studios, is widely acknowledged as one of the top artificial intelligence experts in the video game industry. Davis is a trusted advisor to some of the most important publishers in the industry and is active in the gaming community, serving as a Peer Panel Leader for the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Peer Panel for Gameplay Engineering. Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Game Development, he is a highly sought speaker who presents in academic and game-focused venues, and has been interviewed for online, print and television media.
